* Program will cover three ultrasound guided nerve blocks which can be performed to diagnose and treat a commonly presented
neuralgias in daily practice: occipital neuralgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and meralgia paresthetica.
* Each topic consists of a brief introduction followed by hands-on practice using a live model.
* The workshop provides highly interactive learning and practical information that the audience can immediately put to use in her/his practice.
* Demonstration 3x nerve block (Occipital nerve, Median nerve and Lateral femoral cutaneous nerve).
Objectives:
* Describe and discuss the basic principles of ultrasound.
* Learn the skills of scanning and sono-anatomy in ultrasound guided peripheral nerve block.
* Increase the ability to detect critical structures and improve patient safety while performing nerve block.
